Strong pickup sales helped GMC’s retail sales rose 6 percent year over year in October, marking the brand’s best October sales since 2007.
With total sales up 28 percent year over year, GMC posted its best September since 2008, and the brand’s seventh consecutive month of year-over-year gains in total sales.
DETROIT – Thanks to 6 percent retail and 10 percent total year-over-year increases, GMC posted its best August sales result since 2007, and its best retail month in 2014.
With 12 percent retail sales and 22 percent total sales year-over-year increases, GMC achieved the brand’s best month of the year and its best July retail sales since 2006. All GMC models had higher sales in July, contributing to six consecutive months of year-over-year retail sales gains.
DETROIT – GMC closed out the 2013 calendar year with 450,901 total U.S. sales, up 9 percent over 2012. With retail sales up 12 percent, the brand marked its fourth consecutive year of sales increases and its highest sales in six years.

DETROIT - GMC’s two crossovers – the Acadia three-row crossover SUV and the Terrain small SUV – posted their best-ever total and retail sales in September. In sales to individual customers, Acadia was up 22 percent year over year while Terrain increased 13 percent.
DETROIT – The 2013 GMC Acadia three-row crossover SUV launches this fall with a suggested retail price of $34,875, including a destination charge of $825. The upscale Denali trim – originally added to Acadia for the 2011 model year – will return with a long list of standard equipment for $46,770, including destination.
DETROIT – GMC total sales were up 5 percent year over year in April, the third month in a row of higher sales. Retail sales for the month were up 4 percent. Total sales of the Sierra HD full-size pickup trucks improved for the 22nd consecutive month.
